  • I've moved to another blog host..blogspot.com. You can find me here. I don't think I could ever close my account here in Xanga though. I've shared too much of my memories here especially my early college days. I've been a member for almost 7 years! I just can't part ways with it.  I won't however be updating as much.
See you at my new blog.

  • okay,, so i haven't been working out lately and i think its time to get cracken'. we have an eleptical here at home and i barely use it. and i have a dog that exercises by himself. lol. i let him out sometimes in the back yard to run around like mad. =) but what i should be doing is to take him jogging with me everyday. *sigh* i'll start on that tomorrow but as of tonight i'm going to use the eleptical. it already feels better planning. lol.

  • well hello xanga. ;) haven't been blogging for awhile. nothing new besides getting older in a few days. ahhh! i can't believe i'm turning 26. yikes. it seems so close to 30 already. hahaaa. but i shouldn't get too ahead of myself. its still four years from now. lol.
well, recently, i've been in a cooking phase. idk why but i'm always in the mood for cooking. my next agenda is to make some turkish food. yummm. we went to a turskish festival a few weeks ago and got some really cool recipes so i hope it'll turn-out good. i can't wait! other than that i need to practice for hula. we have a performance on the 9th of may in gardena and i really need to remember the dances. i hate being short sometimes. i always get place in the front. so much pressure. at least if you're in the back you can kinda look at the person in front of you for cues. lol o well.
anyways, i really like this song.

  • YAY i'm back!!
it was such a fun experience going to four countries. Egypt, Israel, Turkey & Greece. i think my favorite was Israel. it was cleaner and the food better than all the others. i did like Turkish baklava and their apple tea. so good. Greek baklava was too sweet and hard. eeek. speaking of Greece. goodness gracious everyone smokes there wherever you go. taxi drivers don't even care about their passengers. i guess that's just part of their lifestyle there. Athens was alright. too crowded for me. you definitely need to hold on to your purses. one of our group got his wallet taken in the metro. sucks. anyways, Egypt i thought was the worst of all the four we visited. i would think with all the tourist they get, at least their city would be nicer. nope. the hotel we stayed at was the worst i've ever been to even compared to the cheapest hotel from the Philippines. yes it was that bad. i did enjoy the pyramids in Giza and seeing all the mummies especially Ramses II, Moses step-brother. oh while walking to the pharmacy an Arabic woman thought i was korean. lol and then we went to a souvenir & jewelry store and one worker said "konichiwa" to me when i went in. it was so funny. he took me off guard and then i replied "konichiwa" back. hahaa. might as well return the greeting. ;) even one of our group coudn't tell what i was and he was Filipino too. so weird. he had to ask. anyways, all in all regardless of how the cities we visited were, i had a fabulous time.
ohhh except for ALL the plane rides. i'm not flying again for a very long time. we encountered so many turbulence i was praying almost the entire time unless i dozed off to sleep. it was terrible. i think the worst i can remember was when we were proceeding to land in JFK airport and the plane was dropping, going up, & wobbling side to side like crazy. i could see the wings flapping around. i've never experienced that before. it was scary but big props to the delta pilot. he had good control of that 747. & a big Thank you to God. He made sure we would be okay otherwise i wouldn't be here. believe me, i was praying so hard while holding on to my fiance'. good thing we were sitting together or goodness know if i would passed-out. lol. watching all those national geographic documentaries about ariplanes encountering problems didn't help me either. i was so happy to touch ground after that. one text really stood out to me and i kept singing it over and over especially when i'd get really scared was Joshua 1:9 "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God [is] with thee whithersoever thou goest". thank God for comforting text because a lot of the times we hit turbulence, my fiance' was sleeping. idk how he can sleep. the slightest jolt wakes me up. lol well, that's it for now. adios.

  • ahhh i need to pack! didn't really sleep until 4am last night. i know so late. went to get cupcakes for our dog's b*day and also for us of course. met up with some friends and ate in irvine. then we went to get some tea and meet up with another fren there. after that we went to little tokyo for a friend's b*day celebration. i was so underdressed while the girls dressed to impress, i had jeans, a very relaxed fit top with flip-flops.  another guy friend that came with us was only wearing shorts. lol. it was fun tho. we had a kick out of it. ;D anyways, i was so tired i didn't wake up until hmmm...1 or 2 this afternoon. definitely what you would call a lazy sunday. only one more day 'till we leave. tomorrow will be packing day. ahh i need to do some laundry also. so much to do but i got enough time. =) oo i have to remember to bring shoes so i can actually work-out while on the ship. i forgot last time so i only did ab work and yoga. lol. anyways, i need to take a shower and prep up before my hunney comes for dinner.
